Sadly I stopped after the first...3 or 4 books, I think, because I couldn't find anymore. Now that I'm starting up again, I'll definitely read that afterwards. :D

(Seriously, I knew people who 'shipped Tom/Carl before I really knew what the books were. The above commenter is totes right.)

Diane Duane took a break for a few years (I think it was eight or something) after book four, and then went on a writing frenzy, with books five and eight coming out fairly quickly after one another.

Now's a good time to start reading because the ninth book comes out later this year!

I think book 4 is the one where Nita goes to...Ireland, right? That would explain a lot. I remember a year or two ago seeing a new one in the bookstore and being confused because I hadn't seen a new one for a while.

There are NINE? Whoa. I have a lot of stuff to read.

Yes! I thought the same thing because it took years for book five to come out and by then I had moved on to other things and it took me until ... geez, a panfandom game until I found out that there were more.

Luckily for speed readers, all but book eight are within 200-300 pages! The latest, Wizards at War, is over 500 but features eight main characters so I'm willing to forgive it.

EIGHT main characters? Geez, sure has expanded. Sounds fun!

Huzzah! I know they're around on the internet somewhere, if you can't wait to buy them (insert appropriate disclaimer here about how purchasing books is the Right Thing blah blah blah)

Well, she sort of brings in Nita, Kit, Dairine and Ronan (the grumpy Irish kid with the Defender in book four) in, along with Kit's older sister Carmela and three new aliens who are kind of really awesome. A-and I'm going to shut up now because I can talk about YW all day...
