Technically restricted - you're not allowed to buy or sell them, the only pitties allowed are those that were already owned before 2011 (i think it was 2011) (or ones owned prior to 2011 who have been bequeathed to a family member after a person's death).

Essentially being restricted into extinction (on account of a few years back someone's pittie ran into their neighbours yard and killed their child ('Ayen's law') + a few other similar incidents around the same time. It was all really sad.)

If she was even suspected of being a pittie her, and her pups, she would have been put down at the rescue.


I'd had one person call her such already so I'm being very careful to clarify she's not a pittie (she doesn't look like one but I guess if you've never seen a bull terrier cross before...)
