And I will be reading it. I have no self control when it comes to things with dragons in them. I will consume it all. Although, I have to say that I actually enjoyed the 4th book. Paolini's writing really improved at that point, though it was still really cliched and unoriginal. So maybe the 5th will be even better?

As long as it has lots of Murtagh/Thorn/Nasuada, I'll be fine with it being cliche and hacky. I was surprised he didn't have Arya end up with Eragon at the end, so that was a twist of sorts. Though Galby's death was pretty lackluster

See I was kind of meh on Murtagh, though I would love to see his POV with Thorn. I think the only characters I really loved were Nasuada and Saphira. Mostly I was in it for the dragons.

I at least felt that Arya and Eragon not ending up better was a sign of an improved author who understood that it wouldn't work (at least for now).

I think he said he wanted to do a book entirely from a dragon's perspective at some point. That might be interesting if he can pull it off. Book five should have something to do with Saphira's eggs, too. (I think people kept asking him about what color her eggs would be)
