Damn, I am going to miss him. And too bad John Oliver has his own show. He would have been perfect.

I wonder why he is leaving. Is he becoming a full time director? Does he have other projects? Does he just want to retire to be with his kids? What?

I'm really grateful now we've still got Oliver on HBO. I bet CC is going nuts wishing they hadn't let him go. But damn, Stewart had a long and great run.

MCU gets Spiderman

Sorry to hijack but i figured it is better here than in a new thread.

So, Disney was able to make a deal with Sony. Spiderman will now be in the MCU. sadly, his movie has pushed back the release date of several MCU movies.

I'm tentatively interested? Like this could be cool and I'm happy to have Spidey in the MCU, but I'm also not hoping for anything amazing with it. I also think it'd be cool to do Miles instead of Peter but well, that isn't going to happen.

I think you're confusing it with the whole David Letterman retiring and Stephen Colbert taking over for him (and not doing the Colbert Report anymore. With maybe a side of John Oliver getting his own show on HBO and Craig Ferguson leaving The Late Late Show and James Corden taking over for him.
