It's piecing together several different things. His only asexual character is a robot, and he frequently writes storylines where people are shamed for having no sex drive, culminating in a strip in which he yells at the audience for a lack of knowledge with regards to vibrators. He's not going to say it out loud because he wants credit for being accepting, but it's pretty clear what he thinks.

Uhhhh what the fuck. The character is a robot who has been in the series for ages and once she had a body just had no interest in sex, how the fuck is that ASEXUALS = ALL NOT HUMAN! Hell that character is now in Dumbing of Age as a HUMAN who is proooobably still asexual (and possibly trans) so what the fuck

No probably about either of those. Word of God is sexuality is the same for all characters between the two universes (though some of the queer characters are only retroactively revealed as such in the Walkyverse by their DoA counterparts coming out*), and Carla's been explicitly mentioned as trans by Willis. (Also, the in-story hints as to that have hardly been subtle.)

* Becky and Danny come to mind immediately, but I know there are more who've been mentioned.

Um, I'm an asexual and I know what a vibrator is... <.< I don't think ignorance on those things is the same as asexuality at all!

I know what one is, too. I even know that the little notch on the vibrator that people were asking about was to stimulate the clitoris. I know this because I saw one, was curious, and asked.

And when other people did this on the comments to one of his comics, he drew an entire other comic to insult them and call them twelve year olds for not having knowledge of tools that do something they may not be interested in to body parts they may not have or be interested in.

This was in the middle of a larger storyline where a character is shamed for not masturbating, and right after a storyline where the token robotic asexual is shown to be literally without genitals. To me, this all happily plays into the larger cultural narrative whereby anyone with a lack of sex drive is others and inhuman.
