Actually, the multi-hour flights are a lot less nerve-wracking than the short duration ones. You get up to much higher altitudes, so there's exponentially less turbulence to deal with and ...well, it's really just a long, boring sit.

I've flown so much I've actually lost count of how many times I've flown, and I have to say that if you're scared of flying it's way less scary to fly long-haul.

It's not so much a fear of flying as... severely emetophobic and even the short flights made me feel really airsick even after taking motion sickness meds. :/
