I had no idea that Zac Efron was into any manga (I guess he's a big Deathnote fan - that's what somebody said here). I think that's so odd but as a manga-lover myself, it's kind of cool, too.

Not quite a PhD, but I was moderately surprised to learn recently that Dolph Lundgren has multiple degrees, including a Masters in Chemical Engineering.

Kelis (as in, "My Milkshake" Kelis, "Caught Out There" Kelis) has a degree from Le Cordon Bleu. For reals!
