I'm guessing you're a young person trying to figure things out.

No, this isn't a sexual thing, and it's healthier not to tie sex into "getting beat up" in your mind.

Not sure I agree with this approach tbh.

I'm not sure we can know how young OP is, I'm not sure we can say whether or not this is a sexual thing, and I'm not sure we can decide what we're going to tie our kinks to in all situations. As long as OP is aware of things like consent and safety.

But there are healthy, sexual ways to "get beat up." If OP happens to have that kink, the better thing to do is encourage her to do some research on how to go about safely, not say "don't be into that, it's bad!"

It's not "healthier" to dismiss sexual preferences as unhealthy.

What's healthy is accepting that you might have a kink and then deciding how to go from there. Liking something (including violent fantasies) is PERFECTLY FINE as long as you are sure about liking that thing and are safe, sane, and always consensual in your practices.

Good luck in your adventures, OP!

OP here. I'm 22. I know that's not old but I'm not sure it counts as 'young'. I'm also pretty secure in my sexuality and sexual identity, and I know about kinks and safety and consent. Don't worry about all that, I'm not about to start picking bar fights to get off.

There's just something specific about Pearl + violence that I can't get off my mind.

It's probably something about wanting to see 'prim and proper' women get beat up or otherwise lose their 'pure' image. Have you ever had these kinds of thoughts or feelings about a real life woman who is considered a 'prude' or something similar? Do you have any 'prude' women in your life who have behaved in a way towards you that has made you feel humiliated or uncomfortable with any aspect of who you are?
