I saw something similar on Trip Advisor. All the negative ratings for an art museum were clearly from people who had never been to an art museum before and didn't like art.

"All they have are pictures on the wall." "It's all modern stuff." "It's boring."

Like, why did you even go?

Or people who criticize food for being too spicy.

DON'T ORDER SPICY FOOD THEN

nayrt - Haha, those people. I have a feeling they secretly think that the heat level they can tolerate is the "right" heat level, so anything beyond that is WAY TOO SPICY FOR MANKIND AND HOW DARE YOU.

DA - If they just say "too spicy," then I probably agree with you. I think that sometimes "too spicy" can also mean "wrong spicy" though. Like, I've been to restaurants where the chef obviously realized that a certain dish was supposed to be spicy, so they threw a bunch of cayenne in at the last minute. Which might work for some things, but leaves other dishes tasting bland but hot, if that makes sense, and that's just obnoxious. I like spicy food, but I want it to taste like spicy food, not like cafeteria fare that makes my mouth burn.
