I LOVED KING'S QUEST, damn you now I want to play them again on a system nobody makes anymore. Never played Myst, but I always wanted to. All I know is the graphics are beautiful.

I was also nostalgic recently and I found a CD online with the first 7 KQ games (not the last one -- I've never played that one) and it works on my computer. So, it's possible to still play them.

The games are still fun! I had a blast playing them.

I'm not so sure about Myst. I like the story more than the puzzles. Some of the puzzles were challenging and some are putzy but once you know them, there's not a lot of replay value.

BUT, the graphics and worlds are beautiful. I really liked the game conceit of traveling through books. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it or not. I think it's very dependent on personal taste, and I'm so out-of-the-loop on modern gamers that I have no idea if anyone would find it interesting anymore.
