I'm enjoying this show way more than is probably healthy - it's a dead-on spoof of magical girl shows - but it boggles my mind sometimes. I mean, for episode 6 to have happened, someone basically had to have had the following conversation:

Head Writer: Okay, so Io and Ryuu are fighting because Io is blowing off their friendship. How do we teach Io a Very Special Lesson about friendship and get him to rejoin the team?

Writer A: I know! Let's have him watch as Ryuu gets captured by a tentacle monster and gets tickled until he cries in a really obvious euphemism!

Head Writer: Brilliant! I'm just a little worried that the euphemism isn't obvious enough.

Writer A: How about the tentacle monster is also a screw monster that shouts "I'm gonna screw you!" as it grabs Ryuu?

Head Writer: Perfect!

Oh show, please never change your fractured fangirl logic.

I just learned this even existed and now I'm questioning the entire Universe.

That's all I have to add.

I have to catch up on this. I love it way too much too. I can't believe how actually adorable I find Yumoto even though he's all the annoying uke/keet stereotypes in one. Except that he uses "ore." Maybe that's it.

Maybe it's just something about the show. I actually really love Ryuu, even though I normally hate his character type.
