I got used to the art in One Piece and eventually started to find it charming, but then around the time the time jump hit I started to dislike it again. I HATE how he draws women now. :\

I'm not fond of how he draws women now, but what's *really* driving me off is how he writes them now. It's been years since Robin or Nami got to do anything interesting, and the whole Rebecca plotline (create a character with drive and goals, show her striving towards them while trying hard to keep to her own moral code, let us empathize with her struggles... and then have her collapse into a bawling baby, and have daddy swoop in to save her while she just gets protected like a fragile porcelain doll)... Ugh.

Ugh I haven't been caught up in One Piece for a while and this is not what I wanted to hear.

OP has a pretty terrible gender balance, even for shounen anime. I've always been disappointed that there's only two women in the Straw Hat crew and like... what, eight guys? Sigh.
