I was in a group like that, and we had someone very much like you're describing. Except it was definitely not entertaining. They were so all-pervasive with their narcissism and disrespect for others that the group couldn't function and fell apart. Sad day.

Fortunately this is a very laid back group; people float in and out when they have something to say or want to toss in a topic for consideration. And there are enough of us who actually care about each other that one prince(ss) holding court doesn't make much difference.

It sounds like your group wasn't so lucky. :(

Yours also sounds a bit larger than mine was, so there's more people to balance out stronger personalities :p.
Yeah my group's was a sad situation, but I am still in contact with several of the people so if I have Important Writing Conundrums, I can just contact them directly to get input.

OP, I'm guessing you won't link your writing group because you want to keep this a secret, but apart from this one individual, your writing group sounds awesome and I'm jealous.
