Unfortunately, no! I have a good excuse though in that I was thinking/worrying about this date I had and I didn't go to the store until on the way back. It wasn't THAT late, only about 8PM, but they had already cleared the V-Day stuff off the shelves and were well into stocking for Easter! Made me wish I'd popped in earlier. Did get some Reese's hearts and Twix "hearts"* on the cheap, but that was it - nothing fancy. :(

*the Twix hearts weren't even hearts, but ovals with a heart pattern on them, and they were actually kind of awful. like regular Twix are fairly good, but these got the cookie:caramel ratio all wrong. Should have bought 4 Reese's instead of 2 of each.

What all did you get? Any fancy boxes of mixed chocolates? I always love those.

Ooo, did your date go well? You don't have to answer but I hope it did! (Haha, if you find yourself in this situation next year def go get chocolate together!) The CVS I was buying from had sold over half their candy by 1 PM, so I'm not in the least surprised. Like 5 people came in after me, pretty sure all of them were buying candy too.

I'm sorry you didn't have better luck though. Reese's are fucking delicious and I love Twix too, but I've never had the heart/oval ones. They sound disappointing... You know anyone who would trade you for them? I'd share if I could!

I got two boxes of Russell Stover, one mixed and one truffles, and two bags of Dove, one strawberry creme and milk chocolate swirl and the other mocha latte and dark chocolate. (I was so tempted to buy more...)

mmmmm that sounds so good <3 think of me when you eat one of the truffles; maybe that will help make up for me not getting any XD

Date went very well, but ha, now there's a thread about that. ghhh, I just met this guy and I'm crushing kinda hard. SO WEIRD, I don't usually do it that way? but might as well see here it goes eh?

(Yeah, don't bother buying the heart Twix. Just stick with the regular ones)

I def will, and will also feel guilty and sad about the fact you don't have truffles. Life isn't fair!

Aww, I think it's sweet. If you're gonna go out with a guy then liking him is kind of important! (Even if it just fun.) Crushes can be quite enjoyable so don't feel weird about it; maybe he has one on you too? (If not, there's always time!)
