Don't know about Supernatural, but when I see the latest and greatest of anything flop, and their stans whine and cry and blame the ~dead-enders~ it gives me such a deep rich schadenfreude served up with fava beans and fucking chianti. Because that's what they get for being such judgmental shits in the first place, taking everything so personally when someone isn't getting into the nu.

Sometimes the old stuff is better. Sometimes. Sometimes the nu. I don't take it personally when someone doesn't like the nu. I don't take it personally if someone doesn't like the old. I just don't like those who hate others for their opinions and preferences. It's this that makes fandom such a shitpile. Whatever happened to live and let live and having fun?

Uh, I am having fun, I don't take it personally and I don't hate dead-enders at all. If you did know about Supernatural, you'd know where 90% of the whining and crying and blaming comes from. You're barking up the wrong tree in a massive way here, lol.

A lot of the people who have a fandom “position” opposite to my own are very vocal on Twitter about their dislike for the current showrunner and what’s going on with the series, some of the characters, etc.

It really stokes my schadenfreude boner to stalk their Twitters and see them complain and whine every week.

I'm still kind of bummed none of my regular recapping sites are covering it any more. I wanted to talk about the musical, which had two shout-outs to me!* And Timothy Omundsen's beard. I don't ask for much, really.

I adore Carver, because the way he ruined the myth of SamnDean is entirely satisfying, especially for all the apologists about how damaging that relationship is, but I do wish there was more Sam.

Guessing you got off the SPN bandwagon either in S4, S6 or S8?

Myself, I'm still enjoying the show. It's not what it once was, but it's not bad. I miss Ben Edlund (and Sera Gamble as a writer) and Carver's no Kripke, but he's restored a lot of what I thought was missing in the Gamble Era.
