Who is this? I went to Patreon but didn't see him in the list of people working there. And then I looked up atheism podcasts because I think that is what is in the background. My sleuthing is not working. ;_;

He seems to be associated with some site called BoreMe. Sample posts include "Bible is a cavalcade of immorality" and "Why would any woman be a Christian?" Reminds me of those teenage anti-theists who got banned from the news discussion forums on TV Tropes.

He's not actually associated with that site. Like any celebrity (even a minor one in a niche field) there are people out there who use him as their forum icon or post pictures or clips of him.

That's Matt Dillahunty.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Dillahunty

He was on the Non-Prophets Radio podcast, but the picture is from the Atheist Experience, which is a public access TV show.

Sorry for the confusion!

"They say we're immoral, when we're the only ones who understand that morality is derived from empathy, fairness, cooperation, and the physical facts about interacting in this universe. They've broken their moral compass and sacrificed their humanity on the altar of religion. They say we're lost and broken and in need of salvation, when we're the ones who are free."

Okay, still kind of creepy.

Considering that it's a reaction to the commonly expressed Christian sentiment of "you deserve to spend all eternity in excruciating agony for not worshiping the correct deity," there's plenty of creepy to go around.

Aw, it's nice to see atheists can make strawman arguments that are just as pretty as religious ones.
