He was with the FBI/BAU for a few years before their child was born, she had an ample chance to see what it was like--and could've made different choices. I'm also willing to bet, given Hotch's character, that she saw about as much of him when he was a prosecutor as she did after he joined the FBI. So, if the "new" job was so hard and affected their relationship so badly, why would she want to bring a child into it?

I never liked Haley, she was far too passive aggressive about everything. Not that I celebrated her death, but I don't miss her.

I always felt it wasn't the long hours that bothered her but the fact that his life was in danger. I feel like she might've said as much in one of their fights. And, they did meet in High School. She would've fallen in love with him before knowing what kind of work completed him.

She clearly loved him and was trying to make it work. I don't think the decision to have a child was irresponsible for them. Her feelings about his job and her life with him could've changed over time, but it was clear she always loved him. She just reached a breaking point.

I also didn't care for how she handled the situation but I can sympathize with her perspective. I think their relationship was probably better when Jack was conceived. I can totally see how the stresses of having a kid would make her reevaluate things and decide she can't deal with the things she thought she was dealing well with before. A lot of her less charming traits did seem to come up after Jack was born.

You've clearly written her off, so I know I'm not going to convince you of anything. But, personally, I don't think she should be blamed for having a kid, for wanting out of the marriage, or for expressing her feelings about the situation (even if they did add stress to Hotch). She might've handled it better (and again, if she did cheat on him, then that's not okay at all) but I thought her portrayal was pretty good for this kind of character.
