It doesn't help when a bunch of people have similar opinions and that happens quite a bit. In those cases there's so many options...which comment do you respond to?

The overwhelming vast majority of comments I used to leave were ignored because I was just agreeing with someone else. That's part of the reason I post less even when I am around, these days - it feels redundant.

I get that; sometimes you don't feel like you have anything to add to the conversation. There are plenty of threads I don't reply to for that reason, but if I never made redundant comments I probably wouldn't comment at all. (You don't have to let that stop you!)

Some people don't mind! (It can be nice to have people agree with you.) It doesn't always get you responses though, no.
