Not really. The issue is whether Finn's reaction was an example of homophobia (and whether the show should have presented it that way) rather than just frustration with Kurt's sexual harassment. He didn't react the same in which homosexuality wasn't going to be an issue, so yes it was an example of homophobia, even though Finn has a right to be angry. Just because people are justifiably angry doesn't mean that grants them the right to react with bigotry.
