WE MADE IT TO WORK WITHOUT DYING! Though, there were a couple close calls. Damn you ice!

We're buried in snow up here. The TV news basically said, "It's President's Day, the snow isn't cleared yet, so you may as well stay home."

We didn't get much snow. But the ice under was not so fun.

They condescended to give us the morning off, then posted on the website that we had to go in for the afternoon OR lose a whole day's pay OR use a full day's leave and I was thinking to myself on the entire drive in, "But people say working for the government has so many perks....."

Meh. Actually, it does. I just really really really really want to sleep until July right now.
