Watching TV during scheduled times. I watch The Walking Dead but it is the only show I watch on schedule. And while I enjoy the show, it feels like a chore to watch it.

I like the shows I'm watching but I'm just not in the mood to watch any TV right now. Watching anything feels like a chore but I'd rather keep on top of my shows then get super behind.

Marathoning is way more fun. Only reason to watch as airing is for fandom and speculation.

It is! I am marathoning The Wire now. Much better.

I don't know when it happened (there was a time years ago when I watched almost all my shows on schedule) but watching TV live is almost impossible for me now. Even if I love the show. The Walking Dead is also the only thing I'm managing to watch live, and tbh the last two season have been pretty lackluster for me; sometimes I look forward to Talking Dead more than Walking Dead.

I was watching Teen Wolf live, but... Meh. I'm not sure I'm ever going to catch up on it.

I'm so bad about falling behind with television. (I regularly find myself anywhere from two to five episodes behind. On special occasions I'll go a whole season. :/)

I haven't kept up with shows as they air since high school. I switched to marathonning shows that were finished years ago and I've never looked back.

How is The Wire going, by the way? That's one that I watched a couple years ago. I remember loving Omar and liking Kima and being so incredibly frustrated by McNulty all the time.

I am on episode 6 so far. I don't know any of the character names to be honest (except Stringer Bell). I should probably look those up. Most of the characters I call by the names of other characters the acotrs played.

Speaking of Stringer Bell, this was the first thing I saw Idris Elba in even though I had heard the name before. I don't think I had seen any of the actors before actually, so I guess it was more important for me to learn the characters names so I had something to call them besides "the white guy" and "the lesbian".

I FEEL THE SAME WAY. I love TWD, but it gets in the way of prime internet time for me. But I have to watch it when it airs, otherwise I'll get spoiled to all hell.
