What topics attract your interests?

Meta meta meta meta meta meta meta. Especially storylines and... I guess literary interpretation would be the best way to put it, idk

I really only talk about fandom on here. So mostly shipping/fic. Maybe a bit of meta or everything else.

Though, I follow some great people who discuss meta for GoT and Supernatural (which I don't watch anymore).

If anyone has any blogs that talk meta from the MCU (or comics), I'd love the suggestions!

Meta, shipping, fucked up sexual situations.

I could go on for hours about my favorite characters. Their characterization, their character development, their relationships with other characters, their motivation for their actions...

Shipping is my biggest thing. I'm into characters a lot too, but I never feel like I can really participate in a fandom unless I have a ship.

Old storylines. I'm not that interested in guessing what's going to happen next, since I'll usually just be disappointed.

Character designs in comics and cartoons, although that's sometimes more about drawing than talking.

Shipping and talking about all the characters(whether it's meta,head-canons, etc), like I'll talk about my favouties the most because they'll always be the ones I think of first but really I love talking about all the characters. I just need nudging in the right direction sometimes.

In fantasy/science fiction stories, or stories that feature fictional cultures in general, I love discussing all the different cultures and trying to figure out in which ways they're different from our own.

My favourite characters (I can gush for quite a while). Worldbuilding, both gushing about and picking apart. Themes, tropes and concepts I like (and a few rants on ones I rabidly dislike). Historical context and external influences, though that depends on the fandom a bit.

In visual media, props and costuming, special effects, etc. I adore the craftmanship of it. With stage in particular, I'm oddly attached to discussions on lighting, but my dad was a stage hand and electrician, so that's a bit of a hand-me-down interest.

I feel like I talk about shipping most (I am an extremely passionate shipper), but I'm definitely interested in characterization, storyline, meta, world building, mystery... Most everything, I guess.

Headcanons and shipping are my main topic. And refuting absurd bullshit like Maraad being an abusive asshole (to use as an example).

Meta sometimes, too.

Alternate character interpretations. Is this character completely irredeemable or a cuddly woobie? Was that terrible thing they did them showing their true colors or an uncharacteristic mistake? Stuff like that. I love to hear all different interpretations.

And world-building details and speculation. There are so many interesting worlds in fantasy and sci-fi that we only get a glimpse of and I love to hear theories about how different things work that were only hinted at in canon.

In light of the other thread I feel like I should add real world issues to my list. It's not my favorite thing to talk about but I do find it really interesting and it might as well be my favorite thing compared to how much so many people around here hate it.
