I would weep, WEEP with joy, if Nat were to "relearn" that she has a more comic-esq backstory with a longer life span, memory manipulation, and loads of hot Soviet-sex.

But this would require a Black Widow movie and I've given up hope.

That said, I love the hell out of fanfiction that uses a smilar comic style background/relationship for these two.

(Steve/Bucky is alright if often overly maudlin and IDGAF about Clint. I don't ship much in MCU really, it's very sad for me.)

I, too, live in hope that if they make a Black Widow origin movie, it will have the Red Room backstory and at some point, her mind will be wiped and new memories created to make the Natasha we met in IM2.
