This is weirdly specific, but do you know those jokes people will make sometimes where they'll pretend they're doing something to help someone out when the joke is that everyone knows they're only doing it because they really want to? Bugs me so much for some reason.

Hmm, I'm terrible at examples in general. But let's see, like if someone is eating and they're full so the person next to them goes "oh I guess I'll help you out" and finishes it for them because they wanted more. I don't know, it's really petty and irrational and maybe this is a thing that isn't even that common except with people I know.
