There are some newspaper strips that make me smile occasionally. Like, Frazz. That's fine. I wouldn't read it regularly but it's not bad. Peanuts? Calvin and Hobbes? These are good things.

The problem isn't with the form, the problem is that most comic strips are astonishingly bad.

I never understood that shit, even when I was a kid who actively followed the comics. It was just complete nonsense to me.
