Re: What are your least favorite things to talk about in fandom?

Ah sorry, I didn't mean everything to do with representation or talking about how a show/movie/game tackles certain issues, those can be interesting to read and discuss(though some of them can hedge into being a bit too aggressive for my liking).

It's things like the recent shootings and attacks in the news that I steer clear from in fandom and use fandom to escape from for a bit.

But sometimes I do want a break from talking about or discussing issues and just enjoy a thing as the dumb stupid thing that it is.

(Using bad was probably the wrong choice thinking about it, I had those rl news issues going through my mind when I was typing my previous comment so sj got equated to bad without me thinking about it).

That's understandable. I wasn't trying to pick on you, I just noticed this trend of "sj"=depressing complaints.
