"Oh, you must have deserved it" crap.

As if nobody ever gets hounded on the internet by angry cretins. Look up what happened to Mary Beard, whose only crime was daring to be an older female who went on TV and didn't dye her hair or wear much makeup. Dozens of rape and death threats.

I've seen it happen over and over again, but still this "I doubt it was like you say" shit, when the anon above was even describing something a lot milder than happens all the time.
