That my work should not take more than 4 hours and to stop getting distracted.

I feel you with AO3. I've also been managing my expectations. I posted something in a fandom for Yuletide and I thought it would do much better than it has (because it's fairly popular). I've been looking at how skewed the comments-to-kudos ratio is in the fandom and have to keep reminding myself that it hasn't been up very long and it doesn't appear to be a fandom where people comment a lot.

I haven't adjusted to the kudos thing yet.
