I just had the crappiest day (academia SUCKS!) on top of my regular depression, and I really need something to cheer me up.

What are your go to songs, videos, websites, etc. that you go to when you need a little pick me up?

It really depends on what you like? I tend to go back to old favorites on Tumblr like Memos from Fury and recently (In)Correct Tolkien Quotes. But it depends on what your fandoms are.

I'm a cute dog/cat type of person? But definitely not any videos involving babies. I'm not a (human) baby person (animal babies of all types are fine by me, though!)

Academia is the suckiest of the suck. God, did I hate grad school.

Thank you. From your mouth to my department's ears! I really love my research and I really love teaching, so I know this is where I want to be.

But then there are days with asshole graduate students who shit on your work.
