It was mostly the volcano for me. I was a huge volcano nerd as a kid. Actually wanted to be a vulcanologist for a while. So I've seen all the crappy B-movies about volcanoes.

I saw it when I was in the middle of my intro Geology class so I had a lotta feelings about the volanco. The same prof does a Natural Disasters class and said she happily talked about the volanco and effects in Pompeii. It really is interesting! I have a special love for Geology, and volcanos were definitely a fascinating subject.
