I hate it when people whine about Fox and NBC never giving genre shows a chance and killing them "too soon. Like they are doing with Constantine. Because they do. It's just more times than not, the shows' number are horrible. Like Constantine. (They are painfully low.) They can't make a profit of them. And if they can't make money, they can't give money to make more episodes.

Blame your friends and family for not watching the show. Blame them for not talking about them online and starting a buzz. Not the networks who actually want the show to succeed and make them a ton of cash.

I blame Constantine for being terrible. Most of the time when shows get cancelled they're not actually very good.

Holy Cow, Constantine IS terrible. So, very, very terrible. Not even in a fun, campy way like the previous show slot owner Dracula was. The only good thing about Constantine is Matt Ryan. And his Constantine deserves better.

Someone part of me wants a second season in hopes that it will approve and give him a better show. But if the show goes the way of the ghost, I am not losing sleep over it.
