No, seriously, do you know the guy personally?

When teaching acting workshops for children, you really shouldn't make the final product and performance all about showcasing what you've been doing on Broadway lately.

There's confidence and there's egotistical.

Care to expand with specifics? Because my first thoughts are that when you're teaching something, you tend to use experience and examples from your own career. Especially, when you're not a trained teacher. If I were to teach someone about my career, I'd use sentences beginning with 'I' a lot.

In one of my English classes, we had a real treat of having an actor who'd worked with the RSC give us a workshop. Almost the entire thing consisted of him talking about what he'd been doing/was doing. It was fantasic, and I learned a lot.
