No. I agree. There's nothing evil about Riku-- but he decides that there is, it's all his fault, blah blah blah, and turns into an emo for all of Chain of Memories and KH2. Which annoys me. But then at the end of KH2 Sora basically tells him to STFU, which is kind of awesome.

I really don't think he's truly emo until KHII. In CoM, he is a bit "Grr, Darkness!" for the beginning, but I feel it's understandable - my definition of emo requires one to whine for the sake of whining.

And by the end of CoM, he's come to terms with his darkness and become something truly powerful and amazing. He is the Twilight Walker, the one between Dark and Light.

... and then KHII has to fuxxor it up becuase the Japanese LURVE their irritating angstmuffins, don't they. x_X Clearly, he stole Leon's angst. Only way to explain Leons OMG YAY :D :D :D in II.
