Your outrage is peculiar in its excess. Of course that seems to be the thing these days. Dial it back already, you and others like you are exhausting.

Sorry but she really is a sack of shit.

You have to be a sack of shit to imply that it's better to risk your child dying of an easily preventable disease than getting autism. Moreover, if she stopped and used her brain for five fucking seconds, she'd see that vaccines don't cause autism.

Welcome to the real world, were people don't have the obligation to not act a certain way just because they 'exhaust' you.

Um, can I just point out that because of the way the anti-vaccination movement has gotten traction, parents are being hoodwinked into thinking they can hold "measles parties" for their kids?

There is a risk of brain injury or death from measles if exposed to it without prior immunity.

Astrology, homeopathy and creationism, by comparison, are probably less harmful in the grand scheme of things as they don't have direct consequences for the possible spread of diseases which should be in check.

This exactly.

I disagree, anon. Actual, real people die because of the pseudoscience bullshit that this woman and others of her ilk have continued to perpetuate in the face of facts, and most of the people who die are kids who don't have a say in the matter when their parents are batshit fucking crazy and believe in whichever cacamamie version of the anti-vax ideal (i.e., vaccines are full of poison, vaccines cause autism, vaccines are mind-control drugs sent by the government so they can take our guns and herd us all into FEMA camps, and YES I HAVE ACTUALLY HEARD THAT ARGUMENT SERIOUSLY). I live in Northern California where we are currently experiencing a goddamn measles outbreak due to these wilfully ignorant MORONS who refuse to vaccinate their kids because reasons.

Long story short, the outrage is entirely justified and you need to step back and take a look at the whole picture here, which includes people who are sick and/or dying because of sheer stupidity.

Go back to Tumblr for your exhaust coddling, Anon.
