Um, what?

(Anonymous) 2015-02-19 04:19 am (UTC)(link)And yeah that probably sounds weird, but people can have issues and still be in healthy romantic relationships.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-19 05:05 am (UTC)(link)Well, all those issues seemed to cause some problems in some of their non-romantic relationships and romantic relationships.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-19 05:49 am (UTC)(link)What pairings are you thinking of? Because I'm thinking of Victoria/Fraser and Stella/Vecchio. If you're talking about non-canon romantic pairings, I don't think Fraser/Thatcher or Fraser/Vecchio are all that healthy. I guess an argument could be made for Fraser/Kowalski, but I could think of a counter one. And Vecchio/Kowalski is possibly in a class by itself. As for respect, though Fraser pays a lot of lip service to it, sometimes he can be very stubborn and has the need to do things his way regardless.
I love the show and the characters, but healthy romantic relationships? I'm sorry, I don't see it. I do think there were some lovely friendships, but there were some serious growing pains (including physical altercations, abandonment, and manipulation).
