4. I rather enjoyed the movie but I did find his voice alarmingly Sparrow-ish. Which was disappointing because I thought he'd been really good at different accents in other stuff.

13. Tulio and Miguel were pretty much canonically gay for each other. There's early drafts of the script where they call each other "darling" and everything. Trufax!

14. I'm still only a tiny fraction of the way in and not in the least bit an expert on other Final Fantasies but D: why doesn't the internet love it? It's great, even though the "OH GOD CONTINENT-SPANNING POLITICAL STRUGGLES" intro intimidated the hell out of me at first. It's even got an obligatory cheesecake character who isn't a raging slutbag just because she has breasts and a skimpy outfit, which I appreciate like woah.

38. Kind of yeah. :/ I don't mind really out-there ships, but for the love of god, at least make some attempt at justifying it, internet.

14. Because the rest of the internet has played much better RPGs and they are Not. Impressed.

The game only really takes place on one continent, btw.

I meant "continent-spanning" in the sense that it spans an entire continent, singular.

And I am curious as to why exactly the other RPGs are Much Better. Not in a confrontational way, it's just that I don't see what the obvious flaws of FFXII might be and I'd like to know.

Other RPGs are generally games you play, not games you watch play themselves, for starters :)

Granted, though, I spend so much time just trying to get the gambit system to actually do what I tell it to that I'm not sure it entirely counts as the game playing itself. But.
