48. I always get confused when people mesh the names to represent a slash paring so it took me a minute to understand what you were talking about, but I get it. XD; I know what you mean. I usually like making the more 'uke-ish' character the dom (IE: uke-Ichigo ftw), but there are some pairings (ironically, it's my twincest ships, too) where it's hard for me to picture it flipped...

Probably none, they're by completely different people and about completely different things. BSG is very political and takes great pains to tackle contemporary issues and controversies. They are both very good shows, though (while the third season of BSG is admittedly weaker than the first two, it was still one of the best shows on television while it was airing).

If it helps, my mum can't stand sci-fi in general, but loves both BSG and Firefly. They're both "sci-fi for smart people." :D

XD My mom can't stand sci-fi either, but I figure I'll probably like it, 'cause my father and I are one in the same, and it was his favourite show for a while. I probably would've gotten into it, but I was just never around in the time of airing.

Same here! The first time I saw a secret about Mylar, I had to ask my sister who on Heroes even had a name that started with M. And her first guess was Micah XD!

I know, that happens to me all the time while looking for fanfiction, and spend like, five minutes trying to remember a character with that name. I wish people would just stick to seperating names with slashes or exes. XD;
