Ahahaa, I actually like the idea of identical twins "looking" different, by mannerisms, or circumstance. So I can understand how one can have "gentler" expressions.

But I HAEET expressions being dubbed "Seme-ish" or "uke-ish". So I otherwise completely agree with you. D:

There's still a big difference between 'commenting once in a blue moon' and 'never commenting at all'. Seriously, if you own up to that you aren't a commenter, no one's going to get offended. But to never, ever comment to a person's entries at all? That smacks of not caring. Who wants someone on their f-list that doesn't at least care enough to say something, even if it's stupid or unrelated?

I don't mind having people like that on my flist because I know I do the same thing sometimes. And a lot of times it has nothing to do with not caring -- it has to do with being self-conscious or bad at replying to things directly (though I do sometimes address others' posts in my own) or a post just not being the sort that really engenders comments.

As for posting something unrelated? I actually prefer no comments. An unrelated comment just leaves me going "what the fuck was the point of that?", and it really smacks of not caring.
