9. Yeah, yeah, you and a lot of other people. Most of whom have submitted similar secrets. You're not a unique and special snowflake, there.

25. Well, I don't know about art -- I'm not an artist. But I am a translator of Japanese song lyrics, and... well, most translators seem to feel the same way about people who take their translations and repost them on other websites and forums and whatnot that you do about people who use fanart as icons, but personally I find it kind of flattering, even when they don't credit me. As long as they're not trying to claim it as their own, I'm cool with it. (Though people will probably say that it's not the same and that art takes far more creativity and work and so forth, but... oh well.)

31. I like Key quite a bit, myself, but I don't love the art. Well, actually, the backgrounds and such are often quite nice, in my opinion, but the character design is way too moe moe for me, and I don't find it attractive at all. But some people like it, so... eh, to each their own.

39. Who says an icon is supposed to be a representation of yourself? I mean, I certainly don't look like text on a white background.

RE: 25 - Art takes more creativity and work than translation? Anyone who says this has either never tried it, or is doing it wrong.

Yeah, I know, but I have heard it said. Not by other translators, though -- I think anyone who's spent the time and effort trying to get a translation that actually sounds good and captures the nuances of the original and so on and so forth knows better than that.
