I am totally an artist and I wouldn't mind and would be really flattered if that happened, so every artist that gets their art stolen obviously feels the same way!

=D I totally love it when I see my art on some icon and in the credits it says "Made by Iconist" Um...NO! Made by me! I do not feel happy at all. I want my name there so people can come look at the whole picture and look at my other art! Is that so wrong?!

Apparently, everyone else seems to think so. o_o;

I mean, they say it's only 100x100 pixels, but then throw a bitchfit when you don't credit them for the icons off fanarts they failed to credit themselves. xD;

Well, to be fair, the secret did say "YOU WOULD TOTALLY HATE THIS TOO IF YOU WERE AN ARTIST," so naturally people are going to go "um, no, I wouldn't."

Yeah, exactly. Rants and secrets like number 25 are nearly always accompanied by the assumption that ALL artists are immature and selfish enough to react to people they don't know using their drawings that they put on the internet for everyone to look at in EXACTLY THE SAME MELODRAMATIC WAY. In fact, in the eyes of many people, that behaviour among fanartists seems to be what they think of as the norm. And being I'm a fanartist myself, I really find that kind of insulting. IS IT SO WRONG OF ME TO WANT TO TRY TO CORRECT THAT ASSUMPTION? I don't think so D:
