It's easier to say which ones do fit me. I love cooking, I'm good with arts (or, well, at least I DO arts), and I'm proud of my hair. Oh, and I also like cats? That's about it. The rest of them are all off the mark.

Lots. But what really annoys me is that when I say that, people assume I fit the stereotypes of the opposite gender, like if I don't like football I must like barbies, which is equally untrue.

I hardly care about sports. Well, I did enjoy after-school Tag Rugby and Hockey, so it's not that bad.

I don't like makeup or shoes. Except I do like looking at shoes online, I just hate shopping for them and the ones I like looking at I know I would never wear or be able to afford, so I like them as art.

My personality is all very stereotypical though.

I love: fast cars, knitting, action films, baking cupcakes, fantasy and scifi, spa days with my closest friends, etc.

If you go by stereotypes then I'm a mess. Lucky for my sanity that I think gender stereotypes are bollocks. :)

I'm not desperate to get married. (It'd be nice, but it's not something I'll rush into just because.) I didn't join a sorority. I don't use men for their money. I know how to change a tire and shoot a gun. I drive stick shift. (That just seems to throw people for some reason. I've had guys stare at me. 'YOU know how to drive a stick?' Yes. Yes, I do.)

I mean I'm being facetious but really it seems like empathy and caring about people who aren't like you are viewed as unmanly sometimes...

There are different stereotypes in different places. I need a list of stereotypes here... Many women wear skirts in Japan, for example.
I disliked the colour pink as a kid and played with cars, among other toys.

I don't want kids and aren't entirely sure how to interact with them.

Not worried about marriage.

There's probably a few others, but I'm pretty stereotypical tbh. (I still think gender stereotypes are dumb, but since we're going over them, yeaaaaaaa.)

(I used to hate pink and skirts and dresses, but now I love them.)

I guess the obvious - don't wear makeup much, don't wear dresses much, don't like cooking, don't do sports, totally capable at working a physical role, fine with 'getting dirty', capable of working in government, fine with computers, fine with directions, can drive great.


I think all these stereotypes are stupid, btw. Obviously, but throwing it out there anyway.

I'm a woman and I've been playing video games all my life (since my parents bought us the SNES when I was five). I did a lot of martial arts. I can fix basic computer problems. I'm not very romantic. I really don't like chick flicks or romance in general.

+wearing/loving makeup
+obsessing over/spending tons of money on clothes/shoes
+being physically/sexually submissive
+wanting a man to protect me/sweep me off my feet/dominate me/provide for me/etc.etc.etc.
+being attracted to tall men/burly men/men with magazine faces
+being underhanded rather than confrontational

I don't care about fashion, make up, shoes or hair. I HATE shopping. I don't like what are usually marketed as "chick flicks" or romantic comedies, I'm meh on romance novels.

I hate shopping. From food to shoes, shopping is a horrible, tedious, annoying *bore*. I only enjoy book shopping.

I'm also not into makeup and stuff, but that's more of a leftover hippy mind-frame than any sort of ...i dunno...anti-girly-thing. Au natural is best! :)

Uh.

I guess being into anime/manga (+ a fujo), playing videogames, doing tons of sports, not wearing make-up (I'm lazy and it's a hazzle to take it off later) and having a pouty mouth are the ones that come to mind.

It's not the only things I do, of course. But once people find out I'm into any of these I feel their perception of me changes completely, so I keep quiet about them.

I could not care less about fashion, hate shopping for clothes and haven't worn a skirt in two months.
I'm not crazy about kids.
I hate housework. (my male roommate does most of it and actually likes it and is a lot better at it than I am.)
I don't like chick flicks.
I have very mixed feelings about the idea of getting married.
I swear a lot.
I like beer.
