Okay, thanks. I'll try Bioshock 1 instead, then.

If you like BS1, give its immediate predecessor System Shock 2 a try. It's not as good and hasn't aged as well, but there's a reason a lot of people were excited when Bioshock was announced as a spiritual sequel.

(I personally prefer SS1, but that one's 21 years old and pretty difficult to play, and you don't necessarily have to have played it to understand the plot)
