Lexie and Sloan didn't bother me but I'm still not over George. Dammit Grey's, couldn't you have just let him go off to the military and live happily ever after offscreen? (Especially since they let stupid Izzie live. Picked the wrong one to kill off, Shonda.)

Yup. George killed me. At least he got a fitting sendoff, I suppose. But then no one talked about him again. Also Charles, who we barely knew. But the way he tied was awful.

Yeah, I think George might have been mentioned/alluded to in like a couple of throw away lines in later seasons but otherwise everyone just kind of...forgot about him I guess. I hated what they had been doing with his character though (which is something I took personally because he was my favorite, haha) and I was kind of glad that he was leaving the show before things could get any worse. The whole "being dragged by a bus" thing was pretty over the top though. Super unnecessary.

Charles' death was pretty brutal, but in a way I thought the other woman's death (I can't even remember her name anymore, but it's the one who got shot in the head) was worse just because it was so very sudden. I mean, I hated both characters and I'm ultimately glad they left the show (sure, I would have been happier if April left with them but I've gotten used to her over the seasons now) but I didn't really want them to be murdered. I just thought they would...leave or something. It was a great season finale though, probably one of the best finales of the show imo, even though a few scenes where mind of meh.
