I used to love playing on there, but updates have slowed down (understandably) and most events are refresh-based with too low of a percentage for me to find anything. I basically have nothing to do on there now that I'm just missing legendaries that aren't catchable without an event (there's breeding, but it's just not my thing).

vdex was poppin ~back in the day and i met a lot of rly neat ppl there

it's p sad that it's dying but most things do eventually & vdex sustained itself for quite awhile tbh, the new games & their sprites made it difficult to keep it going w/o a lot of effort

shiro is a nice gal too and she did a good job of pleasing everybody to the best of her ability & making the game fun even tho i dont normally like collection games

i'll def never forget it thats for sure. esp the people i befriended. a few of them have impacted my life for the better (ofc there are bad memories too lmao some ppl are so dramatic and terrible but it's whatever, the bad was worth all the good)

i gave most of my stuff away & used up all my $/pp/gp otherwise i'd offer to give it to u since ur still into the game . actually i just checked and i have like 100k in ad rewards & i have some rare berries and 100 pp left

and some event pokemon too i guess idk if theyre worth anything

my fav pokemon was a shiny retro psyduck that i found randomly but i gave him away :[ and i gave away sinclair who was my halloween gengar he was the backbone of my shop

still got my beedrill collection tho lmao the plan was to breed 1000 of them and release them all at once in the daycare but i stopped breedin em so i could do the halloween eggs

good times im glad vdex still has charm for some folks. i miss it

Eh, V-Dex was fun for a while but then I kinda hit a wall with it where I couldn't really do much on it without investing a lot into posting everywhere and spending tons of time refreshing and shit like that. It got old.

(But it might also be because to me training, battling, and going through the story have always been a bigger Pokemon draw than collecting or trying to fill out the Pokedex)

I never got into VDex because I was already playing GPX+ and couldn't honestly figure out what the difference was meant to be. I was too established on GPX+ (as in, it'd been around at least two years) before VDex came along.

vdex was meant to have a story with it (idk abt gpx+ but vdex was like a post-pokemon world or smth so everything was virtual)
