I was confused too. IMDB says the last episode was in November, though. (Well, there was the Christmas special as well, but the one in Nov is the one the secret is talking about.)

I thought maybe the new season had started and she had returned. (Which I'd like, tbh. I thought she made a fitting Master. I can see why people who didn't like Simm!Master would hate her, but I loved him and she had the same vibe.)

I was disappointed with how the finale was written (again), but I liked her acting.

It wasn't my favorite episode either, but I enjoyed her a lot; she's the only thing that made it stand out in my mind. (Wasn't terribly fond of the Clara and Danny stuff, but the actress for Missy was just my type.)

I didn't like Simm!Master, but I liked her. I'm not sure why.

Well they were both pretty wacky and arrogant, but maybe you aren't into John Simm's acting? (Or maybe you like him in other roles but not as the Master. It certainly wouldn't be the first time something like that had happened!)

I'm not sure if I've seen Missy's actress in anything else...but she left a good impression on me.
