I like doing whirlwind trips. Since I'm traveling by myself, I like having it all planned out ahead of time but with a few hours here and there for me to do what I want.

Stockholm and Helsinki are on my list of places to visit and if I can score layovers in Oslo and Copenhagen, it would absolutely be one of the best trips ever.

Travel on your own can be so fun. I mean, travel companions are nice, but on your own you're much more likely to meet new people and just do stuff in the spur of the moment.

I've done Europe twice, both on tour groups. Once as a solo traveller where the majority of the group was traveling solo and once with a friend where it was pretty much all people traveling in pairs/groups. I enjoyed both but I think with this trip, I really want to do as a solo traveler with a group.

I like having everything organized and you meet up with people from the group but when I want to go off on my own, that's entirely feasible.

They're usually fairly reasonable. I don't know what your budget is but I'd check out topdeck.travel

That's who I traveled with the last time. I stayed in hostels but because I was with the tour group you were only paired up with members of the same gender, it was just other tour group members, and it was guaranteed en suite with topdeck.

I haven't traveled with busabout yet, but this tour seems to hit all of the places I want to visit.

Thanks! I'm cool with hostels (I'll be staying at one, too). I'm willing to trade comfort for more value on the actual trip.

Exactly. I just need somewhere clean and safe to sleep. It's why it's nice to go on the tours because I know they'll be of a minimum standard.
