(Inspired by the gif in the Stargate thread above) Is this film as slashy as I remember it being??

YES. YES, IT IS.

The film is pretty much a love triangle between Tulio, Chel, and Miguel in which Tulio is the one Chel and Miguel are fighting over. And then it pretty much ends with canon OT3. Or at least as canon as a Menage a Trois can be in an animated kids film.

No more slashy than any other buddy adventure-comedy. Definite hints of 'there could totally be something going on here,' but not a many as Tumblr likes to insist there are.

It's an excellent, slashy film. It was too far ahead of its time though. The world was not prepared for that level of awesome.

I remember reading somewhere that the creators were going to make it even more slashy but were asked to tune it down because it was a kid's movie
