Yeah, it's going to be the 2000s equivalent of Raiders of the Lost Ark, except Raiders eventually ended up having The Last Crusade and Pirates... didn't. :(

The lack of sequels for PotC is a very sad thing. But at least we don't bloated, poorly plotted time sinks that ruined our memories of the original. Thank God for that.

I'm glad somebody said it before I had to. They really should have and could have stopped there (and believe me, I was the only fangirl, back in its heyday-- at least by the time the second movie came out and I had internet access)

There was no second movie. That never happened. We enjoy Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp together in the one pirate movie they made and then we assume OB married Keira and all was well. They never made a sequel to tell us otherwise. :)

the only thing good about the second movie was all the James Norrington. I needed more of him. He sailed into a hurricane after Jack. He was OBSESSED with Jack.

and then they ruined his character

so yes I like this only remembering the first movie. it was best for Norrington
