No, it's not.

1) The images don't prove that the individual didn't identify as being part of gamergate, only that some gamergaters didn't like what he was doing and reported him. See, when you're a fuzzy group that doesn't require a membership card, 'proving' someone is not part of your group is not as easy as going 'they're a game journalist from brazil who wanted pageviews!'. They can be those things, and also a gamergate

2) Where is the proof of an anti-gamergater lying? Is it supposed to be the screencap of Anita saying that someone using the gamergate tag was sending her threats? Cause there WAS a person using the gamergate tag sending her threats. It's in the 'proof' you posted

3) If you're going to make inflamatory remarks like 'all A-GG do is lie and namecall', you need to show your work. Do you have proof that anti-gamergaters have not, at any point, partaken in any activities that were not lying and namecalling?

So, again. Not seeing any evidence.

I'm sorry to break it to you, but your little gaming movement isn't as innocent and put-upon as you'd like it to be. It dosent matter if everyone in gamergate sends death threats or not. It's still happening regardless and it needs to be talked about. (but not in a crappy CSI episode.)

Can we agree that horrible people have aligned themselves with both "sides" and need to be called out for it? I don't care one way or another about games journalism, but I've seen some seriously awful shit justified as being done to folks who "deserved it" for not immediately siding with one faction.

It's a war between crazies on the internet that long stopped having much point but excuses to be horrible to each other. Gamings got some real assholes who've got real problems with women, but discussing that is best done with a different hashtag these days.

This. I think it's absolutely mind-breakingly weird that people will only ever say "BUT ONLY THE THREATS THIS SIDE MADE ARE REAL AND MATTER" when both sides are equally full of crazy assholes who do the exact same amount of creepy shit. The way they keep trying to one-up each other with who got more threats and which side did more damage is ridiculous. They are both full of shitheads. And neither is actually about any ulterior, noble goal, they are both bullying and hate movements who try to justify their bullshit under the cover of something - either "social justice" or "ethics".
