Re: Zelda, or more specifically Majora's Mask

I'm playing it for the first time, and I cannot handle the swimming controls for the Zora form. I spent twenty minutes trying to figure out how to do that underwater flip-kick thingie the LPers on Youtube do so I could break the barrier to get to the pirate hideout. (Thankfully, it also breaks if you follow up a Double Cutters with a kick.)

Other than that, I'm seriously impressed. When you find the ghost of that Goron hero, and he begs you to bring him back to life--because of course you can! You have magic; what good is it if you can't save him . . . Seriously, I did not expect a Zelda game to go there.

Zora form takes some getting used to. Even on replay I had to remember how to do it. What always gets me better at it is challenging those damn beavers because you need to know how to swim to beat them (though I found them considerably easier on the 3ds versus the old game, still hard but not the level of frustration I used to have.) It can still be hard to get the attacks to work perfectly though since the A command does a multitude of things.

And haha, I love Majora's Mask, it's so dark and funny. Do yourself a favor and wear the Captain's Hat during Ikana's Castle if you haven't played that part already.
